This is a really great blog post from Carol about the little town of Ugijar – a twenty minute drive from our hotel.

It’s a lovely place and a different atmosphere from the laid-back, slow pace of the high Alpujarran villages. If you’re staying with us, it’s worth a visit, especially on market day. Enjoy.
